How the site is funded

We keep the username generator free by showing ads, which cover hosting and the work that goes into the site. Using the tool requires no payment and no sign-up. The ads earn the same whatever the username generator tells you, which means nothing pushes us to bend its results.

About the ads

Ads on the site are served by third-party advertising networks. Which ad you see is decided by the network, normally by automated systems that consider the page and, where allowed, your interests. We do not pick individual ads, so an ad on a page is not an endorsement by Username Generator. Details of the cookies involved are in our Privacy Policy.

What we do not accept

We do not accept payment for reviews, rankings or endorsements. Products or methods named in the guides are mentioned on their merits. Nor can anyone buy the removal of a fair criticism.

Labelling of sponsored content

Any link that someone paid us to include is clearly labelled as sponsored. Such links are also marked nofollow (or rel=“sponsored”), so search engines do not treat them as editorial recommendations. Unlabelled links are editorial and are included only because they are relevant.

Your side of the arrangement

In exchange for free access you will see ads, which we try to keep out of the way of the tool itself. Should an ad look misleading or inappropriate, tell us which page it appeared on and what it showed; we will pass the report to the ad network. You are free to use an ad blocker; the username generator keeps working either way.

Independence of our content
